With effect from 04:00 Monday 08 March, the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Public Health Information for Passengers Travelling to England) Regulations 2020 include a requirement for passengers to be provided with information on the legally permitted reasons for travel and a new travel declaration form which passengers must complete.

 

With effect from 00.00 Monday 08 March passengers travelling from England out of the UK are required to carry a travel declaration form. Passengers whose final destination is within the Common Travel Area (Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man) are not required to complete the form. Under 18s or those that lack capacity are not required to complete the form, unless travelling with a responsible adult, who should complete the form on their behalf.
