RJ continues its Ramadan charity campaign in the south of Jordan, Mafraq and Zaraqa

lug 29, 2013 - Amman

The Ramadan campaign has become a part of the airline’s corporate social responsibility and of its interaction with the local community. The company feels it is its duty toward the nation and its responsibility toward the less fortunate to help, so it carries out these campaigns, based on the values, religion and morals of the Jordanian society. Sustainable corporate social responsibility is an essential element of the airline’s work and values.

RJ delivered aid parcels to the less privileged citizens in cooperation with the social development directorates and local community organizations involved in voluntary charity work.

This year’s campaign included holding four iftars for a large number of orphans in Amman and other cities. The banquets had entertaining programs and RJ gave away presents to orphans, bringing joy to their hearts in this holy month.

Royal Jordanian launched its annual Ramadan campaign by hosting an iftar for 250 orphans from charity associations in Amman and the northern Jordan Valley. The iftar was held in cooperation with the Children’s Museum of Jordan, one of Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s non-profit educational initiatives.
