Royal Jordanian celebrates Mother’s Day with widowed mothers

The employees gave gifts and sweets to the widowed mothers on the occasion, in addition to food parcels, in line with the company's policy of contributing to the local community’s welbeing.It was also the airline’s way of expressing its appreciation for the role mothers play in families and society in general.

The secretary of the association’s committee, Walid Bishtawi, expressed gratitude to Royal Jordanian for its valuable contribution and continued interaction with the local community, and for its commitment to bring joy to the hearts of mothers.

He said that such deeds help improve people’s welfare, and that Royal Jordanian has been involved in efforts to help the local community throughout its five decades of existence.

Royal Jordanian has an annual program of social corporate responsibility that translates on the ground through various social events, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. This proves the company’s belief in the important role the private sector can play to complement government’s efforts and those of voluntary groups to help the less fortunate and those with special needs, through many constructive initiatives and meaningful social and humanitarian activities.
