RJ concludes its Ramadan charity campaign; presents clothes to 100 families

Jul 22, 2014 - Amman

The company feels it is its duty toward the nation and its responsibility toward the less fortunate to help the community, so it carries out these and other campaigns to provide the families with food, clothes and learning opportunities.

The RJ donation enables the people in need to shop new clothes at the Charity Clothing Bank, in addition to shoes and toys, giving the kids the opportunity to feel the joy of Al-Fiter fest.

A number of RJ employees helped the families in selecting clothes and facilitated getting what they need, while other staff members volunteered to help in the activities of the Charity Clothing Bank during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) Secretary General Ayman Mifleh expressed gratitude to Royal Jordanian for this initiative that aims to support the Charity Clothing Bank project. He also expressed appreciation for the various activities that RJ held throughout the years in cooperation with the JHCO to strengthen the charitable efforts of this organization inside and outside Jordan.

This year, RJ focused its Ramadan campaign in the Jordan Valley, Zarqa, Southern Shouneh, and Ajloon delivering hundreds of aid parcels to the less privileged citizens, in cooperation with the social development directorates.

Royal Jordanian also held iftars to 400 orphans from different charity organizations.
