Royal Jordanian celebrates 40 years of continuous Amman-Amsterdam operations
Apr 22, 2015 - Amman
Today, Royal Jordanian operates four flights weekly to this European city, using the Airbus 320 family, at very convenient hours of the day.
In cooperation with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, passengers of Flight 152 to Amman were treated to prizes to celebrate the event. At the check-in counters, travelers were welcomed with Jordanian sweets and invited to participate in a lucky draw. Aside from winning a variety of presents, everyone was offered a solar charger for their smartphones or tablets, a present attesting to Royal Jordanian's endeavor to go green.
In addition to the travelers who fly aboard RJ planes between these two cities for various purposes, including tourism, education and business, Royal Jordanian flies passengers to Amman and onwards to other destinations on its network, like Aqaba, Baghdad, Erbil, Kuwait, Jeddah, Medina, Bangkok and others. Royal Jordanian operates to more than 50 destinations, among which 16 are European cities and capitals.
In 2010, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol awarded Royal Jordanian the "Punctuality Award" in the "Intercontinental" category at Schiphol Aviation Awards.
