Royal Jordanian holds two Iftars for orphans and continues distributing goodwill parcels

Obeidat expressed delight to have iftar with the children, stressing on RJ’s keenness to continue supporting needy people as part of its national and social duty. This comes from RJ’s belief in the concept of social responsibility which is a major part of the company’s vision as the Jordanian national carrier.

He said that a number of officials, captains and RJ staff joined the orphans during the iftar, sharing their happy moments of their visits. The staff distributed sweets and gifts to the children. They played and listened to a simple explanation on the RJ fleet and its flights.

Royal Jordanian also delivered hundreds of aid parcels and medical equipment to the less privileged citizens in several areas of the kingdom, like Al Salt, Zarqa, Madaba and Al Jeezah, in cooperation with the social development directorates.

This year’s campaign will continue to host more Iftar banquets and distribute more food parcels, medical equipment and sewing machines to the less fortunate families around Jordan.
