Royal Jordanian grants the Children’s Museum an RJ-branded float
Aug 27, 2016 - Amman
The float will be displayed in a special area in the museum, called “Around the World”, which shows smaller models of several Jordanian and international tourism attractions, such as Petra, the Eiffel Tower and others.
This RJ initiative aims at familiarizing children with the national carrier of Jordan, and the distinctive colors of its aircraft decorated with the Royal Crown. It also introduces the children to RJ’s history and its vital role in connecting Jordan with the world.
RJ cooperates with the Children’s Museum/Jordan in different ways. The two organizations are now studying developing the area designated for the field of aviation in the museum, to make it more interactive and project Royal Jordanian’s identity, for children to be able to understand the concept of flying and get familiarized with the professions in this field.
On this occasion, RJ President/CEO Captain Suleiman Obeidat said: “There is no doubt that Royal Jordanian plays an important role in supporting the process of interactive learning; the dream to fly attracts most of our children. This is an opportunity for us as the national carrier to support such a Jordanian educational institution. It gives us the chance to take part in the children’s educational process and be part of their ambitions.”
Director of the Children Museum/Jordan Sawsan Dalaq expressed her satisfaction at this initiative while looking forward to more cooperation with the national carrier. The museum receives thousands of children yearly, and the new piece will definitely have a positive impact on them and their future plans, especially that aviation always has a special effect on children of different ages.
