Busy traffic on RJ flights during Eid Al Fitr

Jun 21, 2017 - Amman

To that end, Royal Jordanian is fully manned at its base, in Amman, and at the outstations to meet the growing demand on travel while offering the best services to passengers and the guests who are visiting the kingdom during Eid Al Fitr.

RJ President/CEO Stefan Pichler said: “The airline will accommodate the high demand during this period; it will run extra flights to some cities and will also operate aircraft with larger capacity to some destinations in response to the increasing demand.”

Pichler expressed pride in the trust passengers put in RJ services and said that the national carrier, always keen to meet passengers’ needs, took the additional step of leasing, during this busy period, two Boeing 737s to fly on short- and medium-haul routes; they will operate between mid-June and mid-September.

Pichler added that the two aircraft are wet leased, a common arrangement taken by global airlines to meet the need for increased aircraft capacity, whereby the lessor provides the aircraft and the crew, and the lessor’s logo and livery are maintained during the limited leasing period. He assured that the specifications of the two aircraft are up to international standards.

“We thank Royal Jordanian’s guests for their understanding and cooperation in case of any limited delay may occur during departures or arrivals during the Eid period, due to overcrowding at some Arab and international airports,” Pichler said.

He said the employees are fully prepared to deal with the consequences of any delays and are poised to offer RJ’s guests high-level services they expect onboard and on the ground.

Pichler extends his best wishes to RJ customers on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
