RJ explains mechanism of booking repatriation flights and quarantine locations for Jordanians coming from abroad

May 04, 2020

Amman, May 4, 2020- Royal Jordanian stressed that it is deploying all its resources to ease the mission of returning Jordanian students and citizens to the Kingdom, in coordination with the government authorities which are working day and night to make this process smoother and according to the announced plan by the government.

In light of the approaching repatriation flights and in order to complete flight bookings and quarantine locations in Amman, passengers or their relatives are required to follow one of the following methods:

*It is necessary to note that booking is only available for passengers who received reference numbers on their mobile phones or emails, while this reference number does not confirm a seat booking, but it means that the passenger is eligible to book a flight, according to the priorities set by the government and space availability on the aircraft.

  • First option: passengers, or any of their relatives, who received the mentioned reference number have the option to enter safelyhome.rj.com platform, which is designed for this purpose, and complete their flight and quarantine location booking using their credit cards or e-fawateercom. This option follows easy and clear steps.

  • Second option: passengers, or any of their relatives, who received the reference number have the option to call RJ’s hotline phone number+962 6 5202030 to confirm the seat booking and quarantine location, as selected earlier by the passenger electronically. This option enables the passenger to pay for their ticket and accommodation on the phone using their credit card information or visiting one of RJ’s offices to complete their cash payment.

  • Third option: passengers, or any of their relatives, can visit one of RJ’s sales offices in Abdali or 7th circle in Amman to book their flight and quarantine location. The offices are open between 10.30 am and 5 pm until Thursday May 7, 2020.

RJ would like to emphasize two important points: Due to the approaching flight dates and to expedite the booking process, the payment option through any of the Arab Bank branches is not available anymore. The company also reaffirms the fact that the reference number received by passengers does not represent a seat booking, but it indicates the government’s approval that the passenger can proceed with his/her booking through one of the mentioned methods.

The airline also called upon its customers who wish to visit RJ’s offices to commit to Defense Order No. 11 issued under the Defense Law, by adhering to the prescribed distancing space, and wearing a face mask and gloves, prior to entering public entities and entities where services are provided directly to the public. RJ is offering face masks and gloves to its visitors and customers at its offices and different locations.

Royal Jordanian expressed its pride in carrying out this national and humanitarian mission, being the national carrier of the Kingdom, to return Jordanian students and citizens to their country. It also reaffirms its keenness to continue offering all necessary facilities in its offices and onboard its aircraft and at the airports where it operates, befitting its name and its leading national mission in the service of Jordan.
