RJ CEO Samer Majali elected member of AACO’s Executive Committee

Amman, Nov. 15, 2021- The Arab Air Carriers Association (AACO) elected RJ Vice-Chairman/CEO Samer Majali as a member of its Executive Committee at the 54th Annual General Meeting of the Arab Air Carriers Organization, held in Doha between November 10 and 12, 2021.

The AACO Executive Committee consists of chief executive officers of active AACO member airlines; they hold the position for a three-year renewable term. Selecting RJ's CEO as a member of the executive committee validates the airline's position and role in the airline transportation industry, at Arab and regional levels.

 

The AACO Executive Committee, whose Secretary General is Abdul Wahab Teffaha, supervises AACO's work and tackles strategic issues pertaining to the aviation industry and of interest to Arab airlines.

 

RJ participated in the 54th AGM that brought together CEOs of AACO member airlines, AACO partner airlines and industry partners.

 

The Executive Committee consists of nine members, selected from among boards of directors members or chief executive officers of Arab airlines; AACO is made up of 33 Arab airlines. Royal Jordanian has been a member since 1965.
