Royal Jordanian Joins IATA’s Training Network to Become an IATA Authorized Training Center

Through this partnership, RJ will become a major IATA-accredited training center in the region benefiting by that from the international quality recognition to the company’s training activities.

The contract was signed at RJ’s headquarters in Amman by RJ’s President/CEO Amer Hadidi from the RJ side and IATA’s Regional Vice President-Middle East and North Africa Hussein Dabbas and IATA’s Head of Global Partnership and Learning Innovation Ismail Al Baidhani from IATA’s side, in the presence of RJ’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Naser Lozi.

Hadidi said: “We are proud of our human resources capabilities that allowed us to become one of the professional training centers accredited by IATA, as this will enhance our educational mission. RJ will be supporting the activities and initiatives of IATA by delivering quality training gained through the airline’s 50 years of legacy and know how.”

He added that through this partnership, RJ will be able to spread its knowledge and experience in the market and contribute to the development of the air transport industry by extending its training potential and opening up opportunities for the coming generation of aviation professionals in Jordan and the region.

“This IATA Authorized Training Center - run by RJ’s Human Resources and Administration Department - is bound to empower its students and trainees with knowledge, competency and skills for more sustainable and effective business practices,” added Hadidi.

Dabbas congratulated RJ for signing this agreement that reflects IATA’s confidence in the RJ human resources and their technical capabilities to offer quality training that will be accredited by IATA and thus by all global carriers.

He expressed IATA’s readiness to help RJ boost its position as a training center for various advanced aviation courses.

Al Baidhani said: “We are delighted to have Royal Jordanian as part of IATA’s global training partners network. Jordan is a very important hub for the region's intellectual capital with an economy that is truly based on knowledge and excellence in service. We will be working closely with RJ on developing the next generation of leaders for our industry in the Kingdom and wide region.”

He added that Royal Jordanian is a pioneer in offering quality training in the field of aviation in the region being one of the longest established carriers in the Middle East.

“IATA is honored to be partnering with Royal Jordanian in the year that RJ is celebrating its 50 years of operation, and looks forward to a long lasting relationship with RJ,” Al Baidhani concluded.

Courses offered by IATA in different aviation fields, like cargo, travel and tourism, will be delivered by professional instructors at Royal Jordanian. Upon successful completion of the courses, participants will receive internationally recognized certificates from IATA.

The IATA certificates guarantee high standards of training and have gained worldwide recognition and acceptance by the world’s airlines and industry associations. These are important qualifications for those wishing to upgrade their professional competence or start a career in the travel, cargo or aviation industry.
