Announcement of the Winners of King Abdullah II Awards for Excellence

His Majesty distributed the Awards on the winners with the attendance of HRH Prince Feisal Bin Al-Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Abdullah II Center for Excellence (KACE), Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Al Nsour, ministers, Board of Trustees members and other public and private officials. KACE Vice Chairman, H. E. Mr. Sharif Al Zoubi presented the results of the participating organizations.

Ninety (90) Ministries and Public Institutions competed for the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency, in its sixth cycle (2012/2013), divided into twenty two (22) ministries and sixty eight (68) Public Institutions. In the Innovation in Public Sector Award eleven (11) ministries and institutions participated, and in the Excellence in the Public Service Award thirty one (31) ministries and institutions and their branches participated. Two hundreds and fifteen (215) government distinguished employees were nominated this cycle to compete for the Distinguished Government Employee Awards, where forty three (43) of them were eligible for the personal interviews.

Thirty four (34) organizations and companies participated in the King Abdullah II Award for the Private Sector divided into six categories.

As for the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence for Business Associations and Not-For-Profit Organizations, six associations participated in the first stage of the Award which is the Mark of "Best Practice", and one (1) association participated in the "Seal of Excellence" stage, while two (2) associations participated in the Not-For Profit Organizations Award in the Mark of "Best Practice" stage.
