Royal Jordanian inaugurates new route to Mosul
Nov 12, 2013 - Amman
Through this new route addition, the airline aims to boost its presence in the Iraqi market, help the growing air transport between the two countries, in general, and serve, in particular, businessmen, students and Jordanian and Iraqi citizens wishing to fly to Mosul, the second largest city in Iraq in terms of population.
The service between Mosul and Amman will also serve Iraqi passengers transiting though Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), connecting them, through RJ flights, with any worldwide destination served by the airline.
The flights from QAIA to Mosul depart at 6:15 and reach Mosul at 8:05. The return flights depart Mosul at 8:50 and reach Amman at 10:45, a flight duration of one hour and 50 minutes.
The addition of Mosul will increase the total destinations on RJ route network to 61 Arab and international cities, directly served from Amman. The airline offers its passengers more than 850 other destinations on member airlines through its partnership in the oneworld alliance, which it joined in 2007.
