The incident was minor; there were no injuries and all people onboard didn't feel its impact. All passengers on RJ A340 from Amman to New York proceeded to their final destinations.
The RJ staff at JFK Airport accommodated the passengers flying back to Amman. They were offered to either wait for the problem to be fixed or fly back to Amman on other airlines via US or European cities.
All aircraft are usually guided upon touch down by the control tower toward the gates where they are finally meant to park.
