RJ staff delighted to accompany gold medalist Abu Ghoush on Paris-Amman flight

Captain of the flight Haitham Sahen and the flight crew received Abu Ghoush who won the gold medal in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 in taekwondo.

It is the first gold Jordan obtains since it started participating in the Olympic Games in 1980.

The RJ station at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport welcomed Abu Ghoush and held a celebration for him and the Jordanian delegation before they departed for Amman. The flight crew distributed Jordanian sweets to all passengers onboard on this occasion.

Abu Ghoush and the Jordanian Olympians signed the RJ flag and thanked the airline for the cordial welcome by RJ’s station in Paris and the flight crew on board. They stressed their pride in the national carrier of Jordan and RJ’s support for Jordanian youth to attain achievements in all fields, including sports.
