Solitaire Air aircraft leased by Royal Wings skids off course at Aqaba Airport

a Jordanian carrier, skidded off course upon landing at King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba. No injuries to passengers or crew were reported. 

The aircraft landed today at 8:20 am on its regular flight (JO 6888) from Amman to Aqaba and will continue to Dubai. All 126 passengers and crew on board disembarked normally, on the air stairs.

A minor damage was recorded on the external structure of the aircraft while it was skidding off the runway. Royal Wings provided hotel accommodation in Aqaba for all the passengers who were onboard while waiting for another airplane to arrive and carry them from Aqaba to Dubai.
